Invest in Kihondo: Fueling 42 Farming Families' Path to Growth
Empowering farmers in Western Uganda through student-led agribusiness, practical training, and community-owned transformation.
"Progress isn't just measured in bushels—it's measured in community spirit and shared success."
A Community Ready, But Lacking Key Ingredients
Kihondo is home to 42 farming families, each with an average of 7 people. These farmers grow maize, bananas, and beans, but earn less than $22 monthly due to seed shortages, lack of storage, pests, and limited market links. Many face crop losses every season. Despite these setbacks, Kihondo has a vibrant youth presence and a newly formed farmers group eager to lead change.
